Summer Internship
As of the 2026 summer term, all internship applications will be processed digitally through the Internship Management System. Applications submitted with physical documents will no longer be accepted.
Internship Application System: stajbasvuru.iyte.edu.tr
You can log in to the system using your IYTE Webmail credentials.
The points to be considered in internship applications are listed below:
- Mandatory internships can only be completed at the end of the 3rd year.
- Students who will do their internship abroad must enter dates covering the first 30 business days from the internship start date.
- Students who will do their internship abroad through Erasmus must additionally apply to the Erasmus office.
- For internships conducted in research laboratories, the information of the laboratory supervisor/researcher (group leader, faculty member, etc.) can be entered in both the “Authorized Personnel” and “Responsible Personnel” fields. In cases where a researcher to work with in the laboratory (PhD student, postdoctoral researcher, etc.) has been designated, this person’s information can be entered in the “Responsible Personnel” field.
- After the internship, the internship logbook, completed in the format below, must be uploaded to the system. All students are required to prepare their laboratory report in accordance with the internship logbook procedure.
- The internship logbook uploaded by the student must be approved by the responsible researcher through the system.
- The responsible researcher must fill out the intern evaluation form via the link sent through the system.
- After the internship logbook is approved and the intern evaluation form is completed by the responsible researcher, the internship will be evaluated under the MBG390 course.
