FEDEK Accreditation
Accreditation has been granted to the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics by “The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of University Programs in Mathematical, Natural, and Social Sciences” (FEDEK) for the period covering 28 May 2025 – 30 September 2027.
What is FEDEK accreditation and why is it important?
FEDEK is an organization that conducts its activities with the aim of advancing education and training, scientific research, and community service in departments within Faculties of Mathematical, Natural and Social Sciences (hereinafter “FEF”).
FEDEK carries out accreditation, evaluation, and information activities for academic programs across various disciplines within FEF faculties, contributing to the enhancement of the quality of FEF education in Türkiye. FEDEK is recognized by the Yükseköğretim Kurulu (YÖK) as a national quality assurance agency.
Ensuring that university education is qualified, transparent, and reliable is of critical importance within the framework of the Bologna Process. The regular evaluation of educational programs and research activities by an independent organization contributes significantly to the continuous development of our Faculty.
