The newly established Department of Neuroscience at the Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) is seeking outstanding candidates for tenure-track faculty position(s) at the Assistant Professor level.

The primary research areas at the Neuroscience interdisciplinary program will be on molecular neurobiology and translational neuroscience research. While all research areas will be considered, applicants with previous expertise in preclinical research, models of neurological/affective/neurodegenerative diseases, development of therapeutic approaches, cognitive/sensorimotor/pain processing, neuroendocrinology, and higher-level cognitive functions are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree in Neuroscience or related discipline with postdoctoral experience. Successful candidates are expected to develop an innovative research program, and to support teaching/educational activities at the graduate level.
