31st SMYTE (Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetics)
[:en] It is a great pleasure for us to invite you to the 31st SMYTE meeting (Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetics) which will be held in Antalya, Turkey during September 24 – 28, 2013. SMYTE meeting is held annually since 1983 to promote and exchange scientific knowledge about transport and energetics in yeast and other model organisms.
It will start on Tuesday afternoon (Sept 24) with registration followed by the keynote lecture and a reception. The following three days there will be seminar and poster sessions and social events. We will make sure that the meeting will cover the latest developments in the fields of transport and energetics.
The meeting will overview many aspects of transport phenomena such as structure, function and regulation of transporters, sensing and signaling paths, multidrug resistance mechanisms, metabolic and energy regulation and related pathways.
Antalya is a well known city for its natural and archeological beauty and located on the Mediterranian / Turquoise coast of Turkey. The meeting will take place at Porto Bello Hotel, which will provide participants a great environment to discuss their scientific outcome and meanwhile enjoy their stay.
